Dear Friend,

Many women today are right where I was a few years ago — with­out pur­pose, pas­sion or joy. Though Chris­tians, they are not expe­ri­enc­ing the kind of life that Christ speaks of in the Scrip­tures. They long to be used by God to make a dif­fer­ence in the world, but they don’t know how.

Woman on a Mis­sion is designed to help them fig­ure it out, to help them dis­cover how God cre­ated them as unique indi­vid­u­als and how He intends to use them.

When women become engaged in their king­dom con­tri­bu­tion, they not only bring glory to God and min­is­ter to the hurt­ing world, but they also expe­ri­ence what Christ came to earth to give — rich, mean­ing­ful, abun­dant life. Their lives are for­ever changed as are the lives of those whom they serve.

The fol­low­ing verses speak directly to the ques­tion, “Why should I donate to this ministry?”

• The har­vest is plen­ti­ful but the work­ers are few… Beseech the Lord… to send out work­ers into His har­vest. (Matt. 9:37–38)
• God gave some as apos­tles, prophets, evan­ge­lists, pas­tors and teach­ers for the equip­ping of the saints for the work of ser­vice and the build­ing up of the body of Christ. (Eph. 4:11–12)
• We are God’s work­man­ship cre­ated in Christ Jesus for good works which God pre­pared before­hand that we should walk in them. (Eph. 2:10)
