Dear Friend,
Many women today are right where I was a few years ago — without purpose, passion or joy. Though Christians, they are not experiencing the kind of life that Christ speaks of in the Scriptures. They long to be used by God to make a difference in the world, but they don’t know how.
Woman on a Mission is designed to help them figure it out, to help them discover how God created them as unique individuals and how He intends to use them.
When women become engaged in their kingdom contribution, they not only bring glory to God and minister to the hurting world, but they also experience what Christ came to earth to give — rich, meaningful, abundant life. Their lives are forever changed as are the lives of those whom they serve.
The following verses speak directly to the question, “Why should I donate to this ministry?”
- The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few… Beseech the Lord… to send out workers into His harvest. (Matt. 9:37–38)
- God gave some as apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers for the equipping of the saints for the work of service and the building up of the body of Christ. (Eph. 4:11–12)
- We are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. (Eph. 2:10)
Woman on a Mission Ministry desires to equip and send out workers into God’s harvest. Would you prayerfully consider partnering with us to accomplish this goal?
Sincerely,
Board of Directors, Woman on a Mission Ministry
Linda Slaton, President
Carole Meyer, Vice-President
Tami Russ, Treasurer
Ginnie Cowling, Secretary
