Linda Sla­ton, author of Woman on a Mis­sion, aspires to be just that — a woman on a mis­sion— defined as a coura­geous dif­fer­ence maker by God’s design. Every day she seeks to boldly embrace the life God has for her. Since dis­cov­er­ing her per­sonal mis­sion, Linda has found the secret of abun­dant life: it is the God-glorifying, soul-satisfying expe­ri­ence found in pur­su­ing one’s mis­sion while depend­ing on the indwelling power of Christ. That dis­cov­ery prompted her to write Woman on a Mis­sion, a tool designed to help other women dis­cover their unique con­tri­bu­tion to God’s king­dom and live the abun­dant life as well. “When you know the good works that God pre­pared for you before you took your first breath, your Eph­esians 2:10 works, you will dis­cover a new and thrilling way to live,” says Linda. “Real LIFE is Liv­ing Inten­tion­ally For Eter­nity.”

Mother of 4, step­mother of 2, and grand­mother of 7, Linda and her hus­band Dave live in Lit­tle Rock, Arkansas. She grew up in Mem­phis, grad­u­ated from the Uni­ver­sity of Ten­nessee, and taught Eng­lish for a num­ber of years before start­ing her fam­ily. Linda cur­rently serves on staff at Fel­low­ship Bible Church as Direc­tor of Unleash Equip­ping, a min­istry for unleash­ing peo­ple beyond the walls of the church to be used sig­nif­i­cantly by God. Her per­sonal mis­sion is to empower peo­ple to become dif­fer­ence mak­ers by God’s design and to live the abun­dant life to the fullest.
